Renowned comedian of Sandalwood industry ‘Rockline Sudhakar’ passed away on September 22, 2020 due to cardiac arrest. He is very well known for his comedian, villain and father figure roles. 65 year old was shooting for ‘Sugarless’ at Bannerghatta in Bengaluru. “He had gone to the makeup room and was preparing for the shoot where he suddenly collapsed. He was taken to the Fortis hospital where he was declared brought died”, the sources said. Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce (KFCC) President DR Jairaj, said that three months ago Sudhakar tested positive for the novel coronavirus infection, hospitalized and recovered from the infection. He underwent a heart surgery prior to COVID-19 attack. Sudhakar worked as a driver to film producer Rockline Venkatesh in early days. Later, when Venkatesh started Rockline productions, he made sudhakar to be the production controller. He worked as a production controller for 36 films thereby gaining the name ‘Rockline sudhakar’. Jairaj recounted,”He was a trusted associate of Rockline venkatesh. If anyone wanted to get in touch with Venkatesh, They would have had to first meet Sudhakar”. He has acted in over 200 movies including ‘Vaastu Prakara’, ‘Ayyo Rama’, ‘Topiwala’ and ‘Mukunda Murari’, ‘Dakota Picture’, ‘Pancharangi’,’Paramathma’,’Love in Mandya’.
