Guilty Sasikala crossed first worst night in Bengaluru Jail

Chennai: V K Sasikala Natarajan is imprisoned in the disproportionate case, in which (late Chief Minister) Jayalalithaa and two others convicted with Sasikala.

However, Sasikala tried to prolong the imprisonment by submitting medical reports to the court, but her petition was denied and asked her to surrender as soon as possible.

Sasikala is sanctioned with 4 years of imprisonment and penalized with Rs 10cr.

As per the reports, ex-party chief slept on the floor in Bengaluru jail, officials denied providing her facilities that she requested. As per the reports, she was provided with 2 chapatis, a bowl of rice and sambhar for the dinner on Wednesday night.

While on Thursday morning Sasikala was given chutney and tamarind rice. As per the reports, an official said, "There will not be any special privileges for Sasikala. At the most, she will be counseled so she can adjust to the jail."
