Talented actor Satya Dev of the Tollywood industry is all set for its suspense-thriller ''Thimmarusu." He is soon to be seen in a different avatar in the Sharan Koppisetty directorial film. Lately, the teaser of the film was released in December last year and went viral amongst the audience quickly.
Satya Dev is essaying the role of an investigative thriller in this film. Now, the makers have finalized the release date, May 21 this year. The producers of this film are Mahesh S Koneru and Srujan Yarabolu under East Coast Productions. The film in association with S Originals has been in the post-production stage for quite some time now. It's the first film of director Sharan Koppisetty with actor Satya Dev. He made his Tollywood debut with the 2018 romantic comedy entertainer ''Kirrak Party'', starring Nikhil Siddhartha in the lead role.

Talking about the film further actress Priyanka Jawalkar is playing the female lead. The film also features Brahmaji, Ravi Babu, Ankith, Ajay, Harsha Chemudu, Sandhya Janak, Jhansi, Praveen, Aadarsh Balakrishna, and others in pivotal roles. The film is edited by Tammiraju whereas cinematography is done by Appu Prabhakar, and music composed by Sricharan Pakala. Thimmarusu is the Telugu remake of the Kannada film ?Birbal Trilogy Case 1: Finding Vajramuni?, which was a super hit at the time of its release.
