Coronavirus Scare: Saudi Arabia issues warning regarding journey to Iran

Riyadh: Saudi Arabia on Thursday issued a warning to its citizens to travel to Iran due to the rising havoc of the deadly coronavirus. The Saudi Health Ministry has also issued instructions to its citizens travelling there in February to contact the ministry.

According to the news agency Xinhua, five cases of coronavirus infection have been reported in Saudi. Four of these citizens travelled to Iran. Since then, Saudi has issued a warning about this. Citizens reached Saudi via Bahrain or Kuwait. However, he has not disclosed the fact to Saudi officials that he had travelled to Iran. In a statement published on Thursday by the Saudi Press Agency, citizens have been requested to report about their visit on their return home, who are currently in Iran.

Hosain Sheikholeslam, a former officer of Iran's ambassador to Syria, died on Thursday due to a coronavirus (COVID-19) infection. According to the news agency Xinhua, the total number of deaths from coronavirus has increased from 2,922 to 3,513.
