Sacramento : A woman living in California was watering a plant for the past two years. Recently she came to know that the plant to which she was watering and which she had been caring for so many days, will never grow as it is made up of plastic. The woman recently wrote about it on Facebook, after which her post became viral. Kelly Wilkes shared this very funny reveal with her Facebook friends on 28 February.

The woman wrote that while changing the plant she had been caring for in a big pot for two years, it was discovered that it was an artificial plant. I was surprised to know this. She said the old pot was broken, with a very thin layer of sand at the top and a large block of styrofoam at the bottom, where the roots of the plant should be. At the same time, the woman used to pour water on it regularly and was making sure that it remained in perfect condition. However, all efforts made in the past failed after knowing that the plant was of plastic. Kelly now realizes that the last two years of his life have been proved to be false. She wrote on Facebook- I have had this beautiful plant in fresh condition for almost two years. I was very proud of this plant. It was beautifully coloured.

The woman has given information that I had placed it in my kitchen window. The woman said that she used to give it water daily and if someone else tried to pour water, I was protective. I wanted to take good care of it. I loved my plant. When her flowerpot was broken, I decided to change the flowerpot. For this, I took the sweetest vase, but when I took out the plant from the old vase, it turned out that it was fake. Then this post of Kaili has gone viral, which has been given hundreds of comical comments as well as coverage by dozens of leading newspapers.
