Professor S.K. Jhajharia (Professor Emeritus), Bhartiya Skill Development University, Jaipur was felicitated with the Life Time Achievement Award ITSR -2020, by the renowned Professor Y. K. Vijay, the former Vice-Chancellor, Vivekananda Global University, for his outstanding contribution in Industry and Academics by the Institute of Technical and Scientific Research (ITSR). The award ceremony happened in the presence of eminent personalities and delegates from across the country in a 5-star hotel, Jaipur

After rendering his substantial services for 35 years in the corporate sector as Senior Vice President of Hindalco Industries Ltd, he has been benefitting various Educational Institutions viz. RTU, Manipal University, Jaipur and Bhartiya Skill Development University with his expertise and rich experience for the past 10 years

ITSR, an esteemed organization promoting Technical Research, has recognized Professor Jhajharia as one of the brightest and influential Professors of Electrical Engineering. 

Prof Jhajharia ,”thanked everyone for being honoured with ‘The Lifetime Achiement Award’ I never expected this Award, because I am sure that every other nominee for this award was as capable as him if not more. I am winning it because of my sincere work I did during my 35 years of corporate life. It’s the first time I am getting a Lifetime Achievement Award and obviously I am very excited about it while thanking every member and BSDU for the special honor provided to me.’’

Dr. (Brig.) Surjit Singh Pabla, Pro Chancellor, BSDU, said, “It’s a proud moment for all of them for Prof. Jhajharia being awarded by Lifetime Achievement Award. He congratulated him by referring him as a genuine Legend and motivation for all of them.’’

The Bhartiya Skill Development University (BSDU) is a unique skill development university in India that was established in 2016 with a vision to create global excellence in skill development by creating opportunities, space and scope for the development of talents of Indian youth and by making them globally fit. The objective of BSDU is to support, promote and undertake the advancement of the high quality skill education leading to Certificates, Diplomas, Advance Diplomas and undergraduate, postgraduate, doctoral and post–doctoral degrees in the fields of different skills and offer opportunities for research, advancement and dissemination of knowledge.
