New Delhi: The Supreme Court has asked to consider a petition seeking the live broadcast of the trial of Ayodhya Ram Janmabhoomi. A bench headed by Chief Justice will hear the issue. Yesterday i.e. on Friday, a bench of Justices RF Nariman and Suryakant ordered the application of the petition of Govt. A five-judge constitution bench headed by Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi in the Supreme Court is currently hearing the Ayodhya Ram Janmabhoomi Proprietary Rights case. Govindacharya has filed a petition demanding that the transcript be released later by recording live broadcasts or audio of the case. Senior advocate Vikas Singh, appearing for Govindacharya, cited the Supreme Court's judgement last year, stating that in it the court had asked for the live telecast of hearing of cases of significant constitutional importance. The court said that this would bring transparency. The petitioner said that this case is very important. Everyone wants to know about this trial. On their arguments, the bench said that sensitive cases are excluded in that judgment. The Ayodhya case is also sensitive. Vikas Singh said that the case is of national importance. The bench has said that the matter will be in the Chief Justice's bench itself because he is the one hearing the issue.
