New Delhi: Hearing on a petition filed against PM Narendra Modi has been postponed over a comment made on the Bofors case. The Rouse Avenue court will next hear the case on 30 November. The petition has made the basis of PM Modi's statement, in which PM Modi had called former Prime Minister of the country, Rajiv Gandhi, as the alleged corrupt number one.

Earlier during the last hearing, the court had asked the petitioner on what basis you have filed this petition. It is noteworthy that during the election rally during PM Narendra Modi's Lok Sabha election, the former PM Rajiv Gandhi was targeted without anonymity, pointing to the Bofors scam. PM Modi had said that, '“Your father may have been declared Mr. Clean by his courtiers. But he died as “Bhrashtachari No.1"

After this statement of PM Modi, Congress also hit back at him. Former Congress President Rahul Gandhi had said that PM Modi has disrespected the martyr (Rajiv Gandhi), whatever hatred he has for my family, I have only love for him.
