At the same time, the Chitrakoot district administration has also closed all schools up to class 12 till January 7. The schools have been closed from Sunday to January 8. DIOS Baliraj Ram issued an order in this regard on Thursday. It is noteworthy that schools from class 1 to class 8 have already been announced to be closed till January 15. Schools up to Class 12 in Firozabad, Hapur, Maharajng, and Bareilly have also been closed till January 8. The holiday order will be applicable to all schools operating from UP Board, CBSE, and ICSE. Kasturba Gandhi Residential Girls' Schools will also remain closed. If there is a pre-scheduled competitive examination during this period, it can be conducted. Winter vacation in council schools will continue as before. In Maharajganj, due to severe cold and cold waves, Collector Satyendra Kumar has closed all schools from class 1 to 12 under basic education and secondary education till January 7. This order will be applicable to the council, government, non-government-aided secondary, self-financed recognized schools and madrasas, CBSE and ICSE boards, and Sanskrit schools.
