Security forces killed two terrorists in an encounter in Kulgam in Jammu and Kashmir

Srinagar: Two militants were killed in an encounter with security forces on Saturday in Kulgam district of Jammu and Kashmir. Giving information about the encounter, a police officer said that the area was cordoned off and search operation was carried out after the terrorists were reported hiding in Vanpura area of this district of South Kashmir.

The officer has said that during the search operation, the terrorists opened fire on the security forces, after which the security forces also retaliated. Two terrorists were killed in the encounter. He said that the terrorists have not been identified yet and it is also not known from which group they belonged. A search operation is going on in the area and detailed information is awaited.

Let us tell you that earlier on May 28, a major terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir was thwarted by the intelligence of the security forces. This time too, the security forces foiled another Pulwama attack plot. Otherwise there could have been a big accident. According to the information received, the terrorists left IED explosives in a Santro car near Pulwama. But in time, information was made about it. After which the bomb disposal team blasted the car which had an explosive.
