New Delhi: Senior Indian journalist Vinod Dua passed away on Saturday due to prolonged illness. He was admitted to ICU after his health deteriorated. According to reports, his health had been deteriorating continuously since April and he was admitted to a hospital in Delhi in an ICU in a critical condition. Vinod Dua, 67, a well-known face of Hindi journalism, who has served for news channels like Doordarshan and NDTV, lost his wife Padmavati 'Chinna' Dua in June this year due to corona. Vinod Dua's daughter Mallika Dua took to social media to report Dua's death. She wrote, "Our steadfast, fearless and extraordinary father Vinod Dua has passed away. He has lived a unique life. He passed through the refugee colonies of Delhi and reached the pinnacle of journalism excellence for 42 years. He always spoke the truth. He is now in heaven with my mother and his beloved wife Chinna, where they will both sing, cook, travel and live with each other.’ Mallika Dua told that on the afternoon of December 5, the funeral of Dua will be done at the Lodhi crematorium.
