Sensex opens with rise on second day of the week

Mumbai: The stock market opened on Tuesday, the second trading day of the week. The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) main index Sensex opened at 41,058.82 after gaining 120.10 points or 0.29 percent. At the same time, the National Stock Exchange (NSE) Nifty opened at 12,090.75 with a strength of 36.80 points i.e. 0.31 percent.

After this, the Sensex saw a jump of 294.76 points or 0.72 percent at 10:50 am, after which it reached the level of 41,233. At the same time, the Nifty Fifty was trading at 12,135.75 after gaining 81.80 points or 0.68 percent. Talking about the stakes, Yes Bank, Vedanta Limited, Cipla, Tata Steel, Maruti, Tata Motors, JSW Steel, Kotak Mahindra Bank and Wipro opened up.

Talking about the big stocks that fall, these include Sun Pharma, GAIL, NTPC, HDFC, IOC, ONGC, Infratel, TCS, Power Grid and Bajaj Auto. Talking about sectoral index, all sectors opened up today. These include IT, Realty, Pharma, Metal, Auto, PSU Bank, Media, FMCG and Private Banks. At the same time, the rupee opened at 70.95 level against the dollar today. On the previous trading day, the rupee closed at 71 levels against the dollar.
