Beijing: Hundreds of people are suspected to be officially affected by the unknown virus in China. Two people have died due to this virus. This virus corresponds to SRS (Severe acute respiratory syndrome). While giving information, Chinese officials said that 41 people in the country have been affected by this virus. A seafood market in Wuhan is said to be the hub of the virus. Scientists at Imperial College, London, in conjunction with the MRC Center for Global Infectious Diseases Analysis, released a research paper on Friday, stating that there could be hundreds of people affected by the virus. Scientists at the center have said that they have estimated that by January 12 in Wuhan, the number of people affected by the virus could reach 1,723. Researchers have said that apart from China, two cases of the virus have been reported in Thailand and one case in Japan. Professor Neil Ferguson, involved in this research, has informed the media that three cases have been reported abroad from Wuhan, which means that there may be more cases than reported.
