Shah Jahan was building Taj Mahal when 35 crore people were suffering from starvation: Manoj Muntashir

Ujjain: Lyricist Manoj Muntashir, who came to Ujjain in MP, has attacked the Mughals by calling them robbers. At the function, Manoj Muntashir said that the Taj Mahal was erected in the name of love in the country, that too at a time when there was starvation in the country. In India, 3.5 million people were dying of starvation. In fact, Manoj Muntashir had come to attend the event on the eve of Ujjain Gaurav Diwas. Addressing the people, Muntashir said, "In the 17th century, when Shah Jahan was building the Taj Mahal, this was the time when 35 lakh people in India were dying of starvation. What does a king, a king do in such a situation?''

Manoj said that he could spend Rs 9 crore of that period on a tomb, which could have eliminated the poverty of the whole of India. On the one hand, we saw Maharaja Vikramaditya and on the one hand, we saw these robbers and dacoits, that was also our misfortune. Now the Taj Mahal has been built. Now we are forced to be tried to tell history by those who write history with the left hand that this is a sign of love.

Muntashir did not stop here. He said that 'if the Taj Mahal is a sign of love, then what is Chittor, where our mother Rani Padmini jumped into the burning pool in the separation of her husband Raja Ratan Singh, but did not allow Alauddin Khilji to touch even a string of her lap. He said that if you want to know the sign of love, then look at the bridge, which our Lord Shri Ram tied on the chest of the ocean to free his beloved wife Sita from the clutches of Ravana, that is a sign of love. He said that you tell us the false stories of Jodha Akbar, Salim Anarkali's love. It's time to break this illusion, your heroes are with you. You don't need a mange-tonga hero. You don't want heroes over there. You don't want a false story. If you want to learn love, then learn from Lord Shri Ram.
