ISLAMABAD: Pakistan's former all-rounder Shahid Afridi is ready to show up in the first season of Lanka Premier League. Shahid Afridi will play for Galle Gladiators in LPL and he has also been given the command of the team. Galle Gladiators has announced Afridi as captain through social media website Twitter. Shahid Afridi recently participated in the Pakistan Super League ({PCL) playoff matches. Afridi managed to show charisma with the ball in these matches, but his bat remained calm. Afridi played for Multan Sultan, took three wickets and scored 13 runs. Sri Lankan Cricket Board has announced zero-tolerance policy regarding LPL. Sri Lanka's Anti Corruption Unit is working closely with the Anti Corruption Unit of ICC. During LPL, both these units will keep a full watch from the hotel to the grounds. The Anti Corruption Unit has already clarified that if a player or official is caught in a corruption case, strict action will be taken against him.
