Betul: In a shameful incident, a 13-year-old girl was raped by a BJP leader in Betul, Madhya Pradesh. When people came to know about this, an angry mob set the criminal leader's car on fire. There was a lot of ruckus in front of his house. A heavy police force had to be called in to pacify the people. This incident is from the Kotwali police station area of the Betul district. The girl told the police that former BJP leader Ramesh Gulhane (58) had called her to his house on Monday evening. He did the wrong thing with her here. The girl said that he had done this to her before also. He used to give some money and threatened not to tell anyone anything. This time the child told this in the house. The family immediately approached the police. The news of the rape of the child spread like fire in the entire area. Here the police were registering an FIR when the criminal fled on seeing the opportunity. After this, anger among the people increased. A crowd gathered in front of his house. Police have registered a case against Ramesh Gulhane under various sections of rape and the POCSO Act in connection with the rape of a 13-year-old girl.
