Indian Rupee and Crude Oil The Indian rupee is open today without any change on Friday. The rupee opened at 71.21 against a dollar today. Significantly, the Indian rupee closed at 71.21 against the dollar on Thursday. On the other hand, crude oil WTI was down by 0.34 per cent on Friday morning at $ 59.37 per barrel and Brent oil was down by 0.32 per cent at $ 65.16 per barrel.
