Director Shieladitya Moulik who has two films, ‘Hridpindo’ and ‘Cheledhora’ already in the pipeline is all set for yet another Bengali feature film ‘RADIO’. The film will star Priyanka Sarkar in the lead and the rest of the cast is still being decided. Speaking about his film’s core concept and the inception of ‘Radio’, Shieladitya Moulik says he has been waiting to tell this story for a long time now. “It’s always exciting to make films about human relationships. But this time it’s between a girl and a Radio. I am really excited about this one because it’s creatively very challenging with a lot of songs and nostalgia. I remember when I was a child I used to think there are little people inside the Radio talking. The mystery of not being able to see the person whose voice we hear has always fascinated me. What does a Radio presenter look like? We didn’t know those days when there was no internet or Facebook. I’m trying to bring in all that in my movie,” shared the ‘Sweater’ director. He’s also all excited to work with Priyanka Sarkar. “This is my first time association with Priyanka Sarkar. She’s such a good balance of beauty and talent and I have always admired her work. I am sure the audience will love her in a very new avatar on Radio. The entire team is really excited about the whole project because it’s different and has a very positive vibe about it. The film has a very minimal cast and we are in the process of zeroing on it,” added Shieladitya who’s also teamed up with filmmakers Arjunn Dutta and Indrasis Acharya for an anthology film ‘Three Course Meal’.
