Mumbai: A month has passed since the formation of the Eknath Shinde and Devendra Fadnavis government in Maharashtra, but still the cabinet expansion has not been done. Due to this, the Shinde-Fadnavis government is being heavily criticised by its opponents. Meanwhile, according to reports received from sources, the expansion of the state cabinet will take place on August 5, i.e. tomorrow. A list of 15 potential ministers of this new government in Maharashtra has also come out. However, both things are not yet confirmed by anyone. According to information received from the same sources, a total of 12 ministers in the government of Eknath Shinde and Devendra Fadnavis may be administered the oath of office and secrecy. Out of these, 7 will be from BJP and 5 from the Shinde camp. Prominent faces include BJP state president Chandrakant Patil and Sudhir Mungantiwar. Gulabrao Patil and Dada Bhuse from the Shinde group have also been included in the list. Eknath Shinde's biggest challenge is to satisfy the rebel MLAs. According to reports received from sources, preparations are underway to make Dada Bhuse, Uday Samant, Deepak Kesarkar, Shambhu Raj Desai, Sandeepan Bhumre, Sanjay Shirsathe and Gulabrao Patil as ministers. Chandrakant Patil, Sudhir Mungantiwar, Girish Mahajan, Praveen Darekar, R K Vikhe Patil, Ravi Chavan, Babanrao Lonikar and Nitesh Rane are likely to take oath. Apart from this, one of the independents Bachchu Kadu and Ravi Rana can be made a minister.
