Kishanganj: There is not a single day in Bihar when there is no political rhetoric on some issue or the other. The latest incident is from Kishanganj, where Friday has been declared a holiday for Friday prayers instead of Sunday in schools. The case has heated up the political mercury in Bihar. Ministers of the Bihar Government have come face to face with this matter. Nitish Kumar's Minority Welfare Minister has now come out in this political war.
Minister Zama Khan said that there should be a holiday in Urdu schools on Friday itself as this rule has been in place for many days. However, when asked how long it was happening, he could not answer it. Later, he said that there is a politics of lies in this. Reacting to Minister Zama Khan's statement, Law Minister Pramod Kumar hit back that India does not run on religious battles. He said that the Constitution runs in India. Sunday closed means Sunday only. Until the new order comes, the system which has remained, what is the point of tampering with it?
At the same time, the Minority Commission said that it has written three letters to the education department demanding that Friday should be a holiday in Urdu schools. The government should issue an order that Urdu schools will have a holiday only on Friday. The department said that in Sanskrit colleges, there is a holiday on Pratipada and Ashtami. At the same time, there is a holiday in Urdu school on Friday, in such a way, there is no reason for the problem and politics. Information And Public Relations Officer of the Commission Farooqui Jama said that the Commission has written a letter to the government. Instructions are awaited. We have also told the government that Friday has been a holiday in Urdu school, so issue a guideline so that there is no politics in it.
