Shirdi: Controversy has arisen in Shirdi, Maharashtra over the place of birth of Sai Baba. The dispute started after Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray announced to give Rs 100 crore for development in Pathri, about 270 km from Shirdi. The people of Shirdi have started protesting. In protest against the same, local people have announced a shutdown in Shirdi today. Though the temple of Sai Baba is kept separate from this bandh, but due to the bandh, devotees going to Shirdi may face trouble. Now CM Uddhav Thackeray will discuss with people to resolve this dispute. According to the trustees of the Sai Baba temple, the Sai temple will remain open even after Shirdi is closed. Millions of devotees from all over the world visit the Sai temple located in Shirdi. Let us tell you that this controversy arose when Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray announced Rs 100 crore for the development of facilities at the Sai Baba birthplace in Pathri in Parbhani district. Some devotees consider Pathri to be the birthplace of Sai Baba and for this they also talk of being a research material, while the people of Shirdi claim that the birthplace of Sai Baba is unknown.
