Lucknow: After the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections, Mulayam Singh Yadav's family seems to be in a state of confrontation once again. Pragatisheel Samajwadi Party (PRASP) president Shivpal Yadav's distance from the Mulayam family is increasing. Meanwhile, Shivpal has started following PM Narendra Modi and UP CM Yogi Adityanath on Twitter. His move has triggered speculation in the political corridors about whether Akhilesh's uncle will stop the BJP. It is being told that Shivpal Yadav is preparing to go to Ayodhya. He can reach Ayodhya only during this Navratri. Even though the assembly elections had brought the uncle to nephew Akhilesh Yadav due to family and social pressure, but with the results, the distance is again visible. The battle for political supremacy between uncle and nephew began six years ago, after which Shivpal broke off the Samajwadi Party (SP) and formed his own name as Pragatisheel Samajwadi Party (Lohia). The uncle-nephew had joined hands in the 2022 elections after the intervention of SP founder and former CM Mulayam Singh, but Shivpal neither got the respect as expected nor got a share in the election. As a star campaigner, Shivpal was campaigned by Akhilesh in a select few seats. In the last phase, Shivpal had come out to campaign for the SP. In such a situation, Shivpal was bound to be angry, and now it is believed that he may join the BJP soon.
