Bhopal: Panchayat election dates have been announced. Earlier, taking an important decision, the government issued an order to pay an honorarium to the priests of the state. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh had announced to increase in the salary of priests in a function organized on the occasion of Parshuram Jayanti. Now the government has issued its order. In this regard, the religious trust and religious department of the Madhya Pradesh government have issued orders in this regard. The government had announced that those temples which do not have agricultural land, those temples will be given an honorarium of 5 thousand rupees per month to the priests. The government will give an honorarium of 2,500 rupees per month to the priests of the temples where they have 5 acres of agricultural land. The priests of temples which own more than 10 acres of land will not be paid any separate salary.
