Aditya Thackeray attacked BJP, says, ' Those who did not fulfill the promises, they are not in power today'

Mumbai: Former BJP ally Shiv Sena MLA Aditya Thackeray has said that social media trolls need to be ignored, while he attacked the previous BJP government, saying those who did not fulfil promises are not in power today. Before Aditya Thackeray's statement, Amrita, wife of former CM Devendra Fadnavis, strongly criticized Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray's comments on the police action and Army Chief's statement in Jamia on 15 December regarding the Citizenship Amendment Act.

It is noteworthy that Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray called the police action on December 15 in Jamia as an action reminiscent of the 1919 Jallianwala Bagh massacre. After which he was fiercely criticized by the opposing parties. The Shiv Sena openly opposed the Citizenship Amendment Act of the Modi government. After this, on Sunday, Amrita Fadnavis wrote on Twitter that no Thackeray is made due to a mere Thackeray surname.

In this tweet, Amrita was referring to Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray. Shiv Sainiks were enraged at this. In Pimpri, women activists of Shiv Sena took out a procession and showered slippers on Amrita's picture. In response to this, Amrita again attacked Uddhav and said that you cannot lead by attacking people.
