Mumbai: Shiv Sena on Friday said that there has been no improvement in the security situation in Jammu and Kashmir after demonetization, removing Section 370 and dividing Jammu and Kashmir into two union territories. The former BJP ally has wondered why there is no peace in the newly formed Union Territory when there is a strong government at the Center. The Shiv Sena said that even after the removal of Article 370 and dividing Jammu and Kashmir into two union territories, the situation remains the same. The Shiv Sena has written in an editorial in the party mouthpiece Saamana that, there is daily bleeding on the streets and innocent people are being killed. Even after demonetisation, there is no relief from terrorist activities and the practice of fake notes. Referring to the recent encounter at Sopore in Jammu and Kashmir, the Shiv Sena said that the pictures of a three-year-old child sitting on the body of his grandfather are heart-wrenching. Let us tell you that this encounter took place when the terrorists attacked a team of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) in which a young heroic hero was killed and an elderly person was killed. He was accompanied by a three-year-old grandson who was later rescued by security forces amid firing.
