Bhopal: Former Chairman of the Forest Development Corporation (MoS) Shivshankar Pateria, who came into the limelight over the CD scandal of former MP Finance Minister Raghavji Bhai, has tried to commit suicide in the Sagar. He has been admitted to a private hospital where his condition remains critical. According to reports, 61-year-old Shivshankar Pateria is a resident of Mandi Bamora. He had sent a message to his family members before consuming poison late on Tuesday night. After which the family members went out to look for him and found Pateria in an unconscious state in the garden behind the Bihari temple. The family immediately admitted the injured to civil hospital Bina, from where he was referred to Sagar when his condition became serious. Shivshankar Pateria is undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Sagar. Police have started an investigation into the case. The same doctor Prateek Pateria said, "Shivshankar Pateria Ji was brought to the hospital in a critical condition. Family members said he had taken some poison. The stomach has been cleaned by putting a tube, but still, the situation is very serious. He has been put on a ventilator.''
