Kaul took to Instagram to share a picture with the Indian team and wrote, "Had the pleasure to host @indiancricketteam today at my residence for dinner. Thank you guys for making it a special evening for us and blessing us." Team India, who was previously hosted by MS Dhoni at his Ranchi residence, were hosted by the newlyweds at their wedding ceremony.

The Indian team, which is locking horn with Australia in ODI series against Australia, visited Kaul's home to be a part of celebrations and bless the couple. Captain Virat Kohli along with the team members and support staff was present on the occasion.
The pacer Kaul was part of the Indian ODI squad for the first two games against Australia in the ongoing five-match series. However, he had not played as Mohammed Shami and Jasprit Bumrah played all three games for the Men in Blue. He was also selected in the T20I squad for the two-match series and managed to play one game picking up a solitary wicket while conceding 45 runs in his four overs.
