Victim of forced conversion and marriage in Pakistan Returned home

After being kidnapped from Nankana Sahib's Gurdwara Tambu Sahib in Pakistan, a Sikh girl who was a victim of conversion and forced marriage has returned to her home. Due to pressure from India, the Government of Pakistan had to step in and the Sikh girl was taken to her house. Jagjit Kaur, the abducted daughter of Granthi Bhagwan Singh, returned home on Tuesday with the help of the Pakistani administration. Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh has expressed satisfaction over leaving the Sikh woman back at her home and has asked the Pakistan government to take effective steps to prevent such incidents.

For your information, after kidnapping Jagjit Kaur, she was forced to convert and after that, she was forced to marry a Muslim boy. Jagjit Kaur was handed over to the family following an agreement between a high-level delegation of the Pak government and a 30-member committee of Sikh brotherhood. Pakistani Punjab Governor Chaudhary Sarwar said in a tweet that the families of the boy and the girl were called to the Governor's House where the entire matter has been settled peacefully.

The girl is safe near her family. To share his point, he also tweeted that he will make the defense of the rights of minorities in Pakistan confident. Sarwar said that the boy's parents have assured everyone in the Governor's House that he will not go to any court to take the girl. If the girl wants to go to her family then they have no objection. Let me tell you that there is a lot of resentment among the Sikhs living in different countries due to the incident of forced conversion of a Muslim boy after Jagjit's conversion.
