Pakistan: Sikh girl kidnapped, allegedly being converted to Islam

Lahore: Atrocities on minorities in Pakistan are not stopping. Now, another Sikh girl has been kidnapped and converted in the neighboring country. According to police, the girl has married a local Muslim boy after conversion. The 22-year-old girl's name, address and family information have not been revealed yet.

Last year, the daughter of the chief Granthi of Gurdwara Tambu Sahib was kidnapped at Nankana. Under pressure, the girl had converted to Islam and had married with this Muslim boy. After this incident, there was a lot of uproar in Nankana Sahib for several days. According to Pakistani media reports, the 22-year-old girl went out of the house for some work, after which she did not return. The incident has come from the Hasan Abdal area, which is 40 km from Pakistan's capital Islamabad. DSP Raja Fayaz ul Hasan said that the victim's father has filed a written complaint with the local police, the girl is being searched.

Police said that the girl sent a message to her family a few days after the incident that she had accepted Islam on her own. Along with this, the girl also gave information about her marriage to the family. At the same time, the police is still looking for the girl so that her statement can be recorded.
