'Priyanka is discussing lakhimpur case... Congress hands stained with Sikh blood'

Lakhimpur: Sikhorganisations have opposed Congress Party National General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi's visit to Lakhimpur Kheri. Sikh organisations have protested by putting up posters on the way to Priyanka Gandhi Vadra who reached the last Ardas. More than half a dozen Sikh organisations in UP are opposing Priyanka Gandhi's visit to Tikunia. However, even after protests by Sikh organisations, Priyanka Gandhi reached Lakhimpur Kheri and paid her respects at the last Ardas of the farmer martyrs of Lakhimpur.

On the other hand, Minority Commission member Parwinder Singh attacked and said that Priyanka Gandhi is spoiling the atmosphere by reaching Lakhimpur for her politics. He said aggressively how the Congress, which oppressed Sikhs in 1984, could be a leader of Sikh farmers. Priyanka's aim is only to do politics. Singh said we don't want Priyanka's fake sympathy and the government's action in the matter is continuing. Parwinder Singh has also written to DGP seeking security in case the atmosphere in Lakhimpur is bad.

On the other hand, Guru Nanak Vatika Committee chief Sardar Ravindra Pal Singh said that what will the party whose hands are stained with the blood of Sikhs get justice? Priyanka Gandhi's party is going to Lakhimpur to bake its political bread and divide the society. Priyanka will be opposed whenever she visits Lakhimpur and she will not be allowed to discuss it.
