SIMI encounter: Cops unable to answer the press

Bhopal: After the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Shivraj Singh Chauhan announced a Rs. 5 lakh price on the terrorists who escaped the Bhopal Jail on Monday morning at 2:30 a.m., after that, they were cornered in the outskirts of Delhi within 10 km and were gunned down.

However, the police official had a very jubilant feeling about their act of encounter, the officials were finding it difficult to face the media. Several numbers of questions were asked from various places and media houses but the police department kept silence and did not respond.

The terrorists were found in new clothes and were wearing watches, which were not allowed in the prison.

The IGP of prison later in the evening called a press conference; he said the police fired the SIMI operatives in self defence. However many questions were not answered or answered by the statement-“the investigation is on”.

Also the police had no answer when they were asked about the escape of the terrorists from the central jail that has a 30 feet long wall around it.
