Ahmedabad: Delhi CM and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) supremo Arvind Kejriwal was seen misbehaving with the police on Monday (September 12, 2022) after making a 'false' allegation of raids on the Ahmedabad police. Actually, Kejriwal was going from his hotel to dinner in an auto. Meanwhile, the police stopped them as per the chief minister's security protocol and asked them to follow security. But, during this time Kejriwal got angry at Ahmedabad Police, he said, 'You are giving me protection forcefully. You should be ashamed. There is a blot on you, it is a blot on the security of Gujarat. I don't want this security.' The AAP itself had written a letter to the Gujarat Police, appealing to give security to Kejriwal, then when the police came to give security, Kejriwal got angry at them. The video of this entire incident has also been shared by AAP on its official Twitter handle. The party wrote in its tweet, "The dictator BJP stopped Arvind Kejriwal Ji from going to the auto driver's house for dinner.'' Arvind Kejriwal said – I am a man of the people, I want to meet the people. I don't want such security. Police want to arrest in the name of security. We don't want security. We want to meet the people. How can you stop? In the video, Kejriwal is seen misbehaving with the police, to which social media users have also raised objections. They have accused Kejriwal of using objectionable language with police officers in the line of duty. In fact, Kejriwal had reached Ahmedabad to campaign for the AAP in view of the upcoming Gujarat Assembly elections. During a meeting with locals, he accepted an invitation to dinner at an auto driver's house, just like he had done in the Punjab assembly elections (the auto driver turned out to be an AAP worker). Kejriwal, along with two other Gujarat leaders, boarded the auto and started going to the driver's house, but the Ahmedabad police requested him not to go in the auto due to security reasons. Kejriwal also got angry at the policemen and started calling them bad. Kejriwal told the police officers, 'The people of Gujarat are sad because the leaders do not go among the public and if we are going among the public then you are stopping us. Your protocol has kept the public unhappy. Kejriwal kept on saying that he did not want police security. When Kejriwal did not agree even after lakhs of efforts, two police vehicles started running along with the auto, so that they could give security to the Chief Minister of Delhi. Kejriwal was accompanied by a police officer in the auto. But the sad thing is that three AAP leaders including Kejriwal were sitting in the back seat of the auto, so the police officer had to sit in the driver's seat in front in a very dangerous position.' Regarding this incident, Assam Minister Piyush Hazarika wrote, "The way Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal made fun of himself in Gujarat yesterday, it is proof of how great an actor Kejriwal is! No award show on this earth can ignore his talent.'' At the same time, BJP leader Tajinder Singh Bagga tweeted, 'Oye lousy man Arvind Kejriwal, stop defaming Gujarat. Your party itself had written a letter seeking protection from the Gujarat Police and expressed the possibility of an attack on Kejriwal. Now you started drama in front of Gujarat Police due to hunger for publicity in front of media cameras.'
