'Don't light crackers on Diwali, play gambling,' another ad inciting Hindus

New Delhi: As Diwali approaches, the trend of imparting knowledge to Hindus and insulting and mocking their festivals is also gaining momentum. Earlier, some celebrities used to do this work, but now many brands have started doing it. While Sabyasachi tried to sell mangalsutra with obscenity, Team India captain Virat Kohli gave knowledge of how Diwali should be celebrated. Now furniture company 'Pepperfry' has advised that there is no need to blow crackers on Diwali, play cards at home.

The company shared a picture from its social media handle where everyone in the house is seen sitting and playing cards in the family. A woman is playing the guitar.

In this advertisement, senior Doordarshan journalist Ashok Srivastava has written, 'Don't light crackers, play gamble. New Secular Campaign on Divapali.' On the other hand, many social media users asked Pepperfry if he gave Muslims the same knowledge during Eid-Muharram not to leave the house, sit inside and play cards.

One user wrote that he had saved a chair of 'Pepperfry' in his online cart, but now he will not buy it. While a user asked the government to take action to incite Hindu sentiments on such companies, someone said that these companies themselves were exposing their character and exposing themselves. One user wrote that gambling has just arrived, then instructions will be given to open a bottle of wine. Many users made it clear that on Diwali they would light lamps and blow crackers, as this is the tradition.
