Sonia Gandhi's big attack on Modi government, says, 'RCEP will harm the economy'

New Delhi: Congress Party's interim president Sonia Gandhi has targeted the Modi government over the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP). In the meeting of party general secretaries and in-charge, on Saturday, Sonia Gandhi said that the central government is ready to give a big blow to the Indian economy. Sonia Gandhi has said that the government is ready to deliver another blow by signing the regional free trade (FTA) and regional macroeconomic partnership (RCEP) of 16 ASEAN countries.

She said that this will cause serious consequences and trouble for our farmers, shopkeepers, small and medium entrepreneurs. Congress interim president Sonia Gandhi further said that as a citizen it is very sad for me that the Indian economy is blocked today. Even more worrying is that the government is refusing to accept this truth.

Sonia Gandhi said that instead of acknowledging the severity of the recession, PM Narendra Modi is in the headlines and managing the events. Its value is not paid to anyone but crores of Indians, especially unemployed youth, farmers. Sonia Gandhi also said that the economic crisis is getting serious day by day and the government is not taking any steps.
