Sourav Ganguly to undergo medical tests

Kolkata: Another stain will be placed in the heart of Sourav Ganguly, President of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and former captain of Team India. Apollo Hospital sources have given information about this on Thursday. An angiogram has revealed that blockages in his heart's arteries are not ending, which has necessitated another stain, as told by hospital sources.

Earlier on January 2, when he had a cardiac attack for the first time, the doctors had put the first stain in his body while performing surgery. Later on 7 January, Sourav Ganguly was declared healthy and sent home, but on Wednesday he was admitted to Apollo Hospital after chest pain once again.

Former 48-year-old cricketer Ganguly has got new problems in his body. On behalf of the hospital, it has been told that the team of doctors constituted for his treatment, Dr Saptarshi Basu, Dr Saroj Mandal and his family doctor Aftab Khan will carry out the entire process of installing the stain. The country's renowned cardiologist Dr Devi Shetty will monitor the entire process and also give directions through video conferencing.
