South Star Arun Vijay tests positive for COVID-19; under home quarantine

The most recent wave of COVID-19 appears to be the worst for the film industry. Arun Vijay recently revealed that he tested positive for the virus. On Twitter, he notified everyone of the bad news. According to his doctor's instructions, the actor is currently quarantined at home.

"Hi everyone!!" the actor posted on Twitter. I'm writing to let you know that I tested positive for COVID-19. I'm now under home quarantine, and I'm following all of my doctor's safety precautions. Thank you for all of your support. Everyone, stay safe and take care of yourselves." Many members of the fraternity have been afflicted with the virus in the last few weeks. Suhail Chandhok, Ajit's Veeram co-star, is the most recent. He's been infected with the virus's Omicron form. Aside from these two, Arun Vaidhyanathan, the director, was also found positive for the Omicron variant. He has, however, recovered from the virus. On the bright side, no celebrity deaths have been recorded as a result of the virus as of yet.

 

On the work front, the actor will next be seen in Borrder, an espionage thriller. Arivazhagan Venkatachalam directed the film, which was produced by Vijaya Raghavendra under the name All in Pictures. Regina Cassandra and Stefy Patel also star in the film. The film is set in a military setting and centres around patriotism. The film's release has been postponed, and no new release date has been given.
