SP MLA to be shifted to Maharajganj jail after meeting with Akhilesh Yadav

Lucknow: The Uttar Pradesh government has decided to shift the detained Samajwadi Party (SP) MLA Irfan Solanki to Maharajganj Jail in Kanpur. It is being told that today i.e. on Wednesday (December 21), he will be shifted to Maharajganj Jail amidst tight security.   Special Secretary Suresh Kumar Pandey has sent a letter to DG Jail informing about the government's decision. As soon as the order of the government is received, the jail administration started the process of sending Irfan Solanki to Maharajganj on Wednesday. Earlier, the jail administration itself had written a letter to the government requesting to change Solanki's jail. The government has said to provide information about it after admitting MLA Irfan to Maharajganj District Jail. 

The national president of Samajwadi Party (SP) and former CM Akhilesh Yadav met Irfan Solanki in Kanpur jail. Now the allegation of giving a certificate of being an Indian to a Bangladeshi citizen has also been added against Irfan. Let us tell you that illegal Bangladeshis caught from UP seem to be connecting with terrorists and it is alleged that SP MLA Irfan had given certificates of being Indians to these Bangladeshis.
