Patna: A tragic accident occurred in Begusarai, Bihar, as a speeding unknown vehicle crushed two friends riding a motorcycle, resulting in their deaths. The incident took place near Pakdi village of Veerpur Sanjat Path in the Veerpur police station area. The victims, identified as 26-year-old Irshad and 23-year-old Mohammad Ali, residents of Bhavanandpur Panchayat, were returning home after filling petrol in their bike when the accident happened. According to the police, both youths were riding the motorcycle when a speeding unknown vehicle collided with them. The impact was severe, and both friends were thrown off the bike. Despite efforts by onlookers to save them, it was too late. Both Irshad and Mohammad Ali succumbed to their injuries on the spot. The police were informed immediately, and they reached the accident site. The bodies were taken into custody and sent to Begusarai Hospital for post-mortem. The families of the deceased were also notified. The families of the victims were devastated upon hearing the tragic news. Both families were inconsolable, and tears flowed freely. They reached Begusarai Hospital, where they saw the bodies of their sons after the post-mortem. Expressing their grief, the family members mentioned that Irshad and Mohammad Ali were childhood friends and had gone out to fill petrol. Little did they know that it would be their last journey. They demanded the harshest punishment for the accused. The police assured that they are investigating the case rigorously. They are scanning the CCTV footage from the area to identify and apprehend the unknown driver responsible for the accident. Strict action will be taken against the culprit once found.
