New Delhi:, SpiceJet on Monday announced that it will operate non-stop flights from Delhi and Mumbai to London from December 4, 2020. In a press release, the airline said that SpiceJet is the first budget airline in the country to start operating flights to the United Kingdom. The company has stated that it will operate the aircraft as per the Air Bubble agreement with Delhi-London Flight and Mumbai-London Flight UK. SpiceJet will use Airbus A330-900 Neo aircraft for these flights. The 371-seater twin-aisle A330 has 353 economy and 18 business class seats. Giving information, SpiceJet has stated that these flights from India will operate to Heathrow Airport in London. In this context, Ajay Singh, President and Managing Director of SpiceJet has said that Delhi-London return flights will operate twice a week, while Mumbai-London flights will operate once a week. He further said that the airline would soon announce flights to destinations longer than India. Explain that due to Corona virus epidemic in India, scheduled international passenger services have been closed since March 23.
