A major accident was averted in Mahalok, suddenly a small pinnacle at the main gate fell

Ujjain: A stone shape fell from the roof of Triveni Mandapam in 'Shri Mahakal Mahalok' on Thursday. Due to this, the tiles below were broken and shattered. The weight of the stone is 4 to 4.5  kg. Some people were present on the occasion at the time of the incident. However, no one was injured. Congress is constantly raising questions about corruption in Mahakal Lok.  

Four days ago, the statues of 11-11 feet high seven sages installed on pedestals in Mahakal Mahalok were damaged due to falling from a height of 10 feet. The Congress has alleged irregularities and corruption in the construction of Mahakal Mahalok. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan sent a letter to State Finance, Statistics and Ujjain District In-charge Minister Jagdish Deora to get the damaged statues repaired and restored. He directed the officials to repair and restore the statues of the broken seven sages within two weeks and to strengthen them by conducting technical examination of all the remaining statues. From Tuesday, the repair of the statues started in compliance with it. On Wednesday, the work of painting and painting the statues started.

The food zone is to be opened in Triveni Mandapam built in Shri Mahakal Mahalok. For this, the tender process has been done by Ujjain Smart City Company. An investor is willing to pay up to Rs 14.60 crore to open a food zone. The high court is waiting for the ban on auctioning shops built in Mahakal Mahalok to be lifted. As soon as the ban is lifted, the tender will be approved and the shop allocation work will be done. According to the company's report, 10 shops built on the ground floor of Triveni Mandapam will be given on lease for 30 years. Out of 89 shops located in Madhyaanchal Bhawan, 60 shops will also be given on lease. For this, tenders were invited on the portal by 18 January 2023. A provision was made to give a minimum installation price of Rs 18.72 lakh for 60 shops of 8.64 square meters built in Madhyaanchal Bhawan and 10 shops built in 90 square meters in Triveni Mandapam to one person. The minimum installation price of the 10 shops was kept at Rs 5.81 crore.
