SRINAGAR: Temperatures (Mercury) in Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh continued to plummet on Saturday, with Srinagar and Jammu registering the lowest nights of the season at minus 6 and 2.3 degrees Celsius, respectively, according to the Metrological Department. "Srinagar and Jammu had the coldest night of the season so far tonight, with temperatures of minus 6.0 and 2.3 degrees Celsius," a Department official said. Pahalgam's minimum temperature was - 8.3 degrees, while Gulmarg's was negative 8.5 degrees. Meanwhile, the lowest temperature of the night was - 20.3 in Drass, Ladakh, and minus 15.3 in Leh, according to the official.
