SBI gave new year gift to its customers, now pay by thumb

New Delhi: A good news has come for the account holders of the country's largest bank, State Bank of India (SBI). Now you do not need to keep cash or card for small payment. SBI has come up with a new technology. With this help, you will be able to pay for the same purchase in any shop through your thumb. SBI has launched its new BHIM-Aadhaar-SBI platform service. In this, shoppers will be given a thumb scanning machine.

If the buyer does not have the money or card, then he will just get his thumb scan done and payment will be made. According to SBI, first the account holder has to register himself through BHIM-Aadhaar-SBI app. Once registered, the account holder can make purchases from the shops where BHIM-Aadhaar-SBI facility is available. The bank will restore the facility of thumb scanning payment after verifying the account of registered account holders with Aadhaar from Aadhaar.

Any payment will be made directly from the account of the account holder. SBI has asked all the big and small shopkeepers of the country to contact the bank for payment facility without cash or card. The bank will provide a thumb scanning machine to these shopkeepers which will provide the facility of direct payment from customers to the account.
