Uttar Pradesh: Huge setback to economy due to lockdown, Yogi government planning to recover

In Uttar Pradesh, the state government has suffered a huge setback on the earnings front in view of the coronavirus infection. Due to the closure of everything in the state, the government has got very less revenue than expected in April.

No one will be able to enter inside Uttar Pradesh without permission

Yogi Adityanath government has lost huge revenue due to the lockdown in April. The state government is currently trying to raise additional resources, as well as cutting the government's non-essential expenditure. It is believed that the government can increase VAT on petrol and diesel to compensate for this loss.

Committees will be formed here to monitor migrant workers

Lockdown is extended due to coronavirus infection. Currently Lockdown 3 will be held from 4th May. The worst effect of this lockdown is on the economy of the country and the state. The state treasury of Uttar Pradesh is becoming empty due to the lockdown. In the first month of the financial year 2020-2021, there has been a huge decline in the revenue of the Finance Department.
