Mumbai: In a shocking and shameful incident, a 45-year-old man was arrested for allegedly having unnatural sex with a stray dog at Andheri, Mumbai, Police informed on Tuesday. Mitlesh Das was identified as the accused. According to a police officer at Amboli police station, "a 25-year-old woman spotted the accused, Das, having unnatural intercourse with a dog at a location near Balaji Telefilms, Veera Desai Road, Andheri, after which she contacted the local police station and made a complaint." Officials claim that the police filed a case against the accused based on the woman's account. The officer said, "A case has been filed in accordance with Section 377 of the IPC and Section 11(1)(1)(a) of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act 1960." Further information is awaited. Earlier, in a similar casem a stray dog was allegedly raped by a man in Patna. The incident took place on March 8, Holi Day. The act's video also gained popularity on social media. The claimed event happened at Phulwari Sharif's Faisal Colony. The strange conduct with a dog in the colony was captured on CCTV by an unidentified person. An Organization then filed a request with the police station in Phulwari Sharif regarding the situation. After taking notice of this, Patna Police opened an inquiry into the situation. Asst Supdt of police, Phulwari Sharif, Manish Kumar, had said, "An application was received and action will be taken as per the IPC and Animal Act. The matter is being investigated."
