New Delhi: The Subject Expert Committee on Corona Virus of the Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation (CDSCO) on Thursday recommended mixing Covishield and Covaxin and studying it. The expert panel has also recommended the mixing of Bharat Biotech Covaxin and Nasal Vaccine. It has also recommended that the Biological E children's vaccine be approved for the clinical trial. However, the final decision will be taken by the Drugs Controller General of India (DCGI). The Christian Medical College (CMC) in Vellore, Tamil Nadu, had applied for a study on the mixing dose of Covishield and Covaxin. According to media reports, the Expert Committee has recommended the CMC to approve the clinical trial of Phase-IV, which will provide Covishield and Covaxin supplements to 300 people.
