New Delhi: The Supreme Court has stayed the Allahabad High Court's order to provide medical facilities to the government on a war footing, terming health facilities in Uttar Pradesh as ram vishwas. The Supreme Court said the high court should have also thought about the possibility of its implementation while giving the order. Justices Vineet Saran and BR Gavai of the vacation bench of the Supreme court said that the High Court should not give orders which are difficult to implement and have an impact at the national/international level. Solicitor General Tushar Mehta defended the Uttar Pradesh government in the Supreme Court. Mehta termed the high court order as a good intention. He also said that it is very difficult to implement it. On this, the Supreme Court stayed the Allahabad High Court's order making oxygen beds mandatory in all nursing homes in the state and said the courts should also consider its feasibility while pronouncing any verdict. Orders which are difficult to implement should not be given. In fact, Solicitor General Tushar Mehta said that there are 97,000 villages in the state. In such a situation, it is not possible to implement the order.
