Along with this, P Chidambaram's third petition in the Supreme Court will also be heard on Monday. In which Chidambaram has challenged the CBI remand. The petition said that according to the rule, the lower court should have issued the bailable warrant first and then the non-bailable warrant. But this has not been done, so Chidambaram's CBI remand is illegal. Earlier, in the Enforcement Directorate (ED) case, the hearing was completed in the Supreme Court on Chidambaram's anticipatory bail plea. The verdict was reserved by the apex court. The court will give its verdict on 5 September, till then the interim stay on the arrest of Chidambaram will continue. The court asked the ED to file a transcript in 3 days.
