Patna: The team from the Center held a meeting with the officials of the Bihar government on Sunday in Patna, the capital of Bihar. In this meeting, after assessing the damage done in flood-affected areas, the central team discussed the amount recommended by the Bihar government. In front of the central team, demand has been made by the state government regarding the damage done in the flood-affected area. Now on Tuesday, the Bihar government will send a further report to the central team.
Officials of the Bihar government held a meeting with a seven-member central team from Patna. This year 13 districts of the state have been badly affected by the floods. There has been a lot of damage in rural areas. The state government has assessed the situation and submitted a report to the central team, based on this, the central team visited the flood-affected areas of North Bihar and reviewed the situation.
Along with this, the recommended amount was also matched to the actual situation. The biggest loss has been to the Department of Agriculture, Water Resources and Road Construction. A Bihar government official termed the approach of the central team positive. A total of Rs 2700 crore has been recommended from the Central Government on behalf of the Bihar government, of which 354 crores has been sought for agriculture, 306 crores for water resources, Rs 332 crore for road construction and the rest for other works.
