New Delhi: After the abrogation of Article 370 of the Constitution that gives special status to Jammu and Kashmir, there is news of a meeting on the Kartarpur corridor amid deep tension between India and Pakistan. It is reported from the Ministry of External Affairs that a meeting between the representatives of India and Pakistan is going to be held on September 4 regarding the Kartarpur corridor.

Both countries have confirmed that they will hold a meeting on Wednesday, September 4, to complete the final modalities of the Kartarpur corridor. This meeting is going to be held on attic in India this time. The time of the meeting has been fixed at 10.30 am. New Delhi had proposed to negotiate the Kartarpur corridor. The representatives of India and Pakistan are going to hold talks on Kartarpur corridor for the third time. With the construction of Kartarpur corridor, lakhs of devotees will be able to see the holy Kartarpur gurdwara.

A first phase meeting was held in Attari this year regarding the Kartarpur corridor. After this, a meeting was also held in Wagah in July. The second phase of talks was held in Wagah, Pakistan on 14 July. At that time Pakistan agreed to build a bridge over the old Ravi Creek. So that it will be allowed to do pilgrimage throughout the year in Gurdwara Kartarpur Sahib.
