Suresh Gopi has taken to his social media handle and urged people to stick to constructive criticism. In his latest social media post, the superstar shared that every individual has the right to express their opinion, as well as, the right to express dissent, but it has to be in a decent manner. Actor Prithviraj Sukumaran, who had earlier shared his take on the administrative reforms in Lakshadweep, has been facing hate campaigns recently. The actor has been at the receiving end of the hate campaign on social media for supporting #SaveLakshadweep campaign. And seems like the whole incident has caught the attention of Suresh Gopi. The superstar penned an emotional note and asked people to stop dragging families when they cannot stand with the opinion of a person. “Let dignity and integrity be your Sword when you criticize. Keep protected Integrity, Dignity, Decency and let Emotions be PURE and SINCERE (sic),” Suresh Gopi tweeted. Suresh Gopi shared that his recent post is not in solidarity with a particular person or any party, but in solidarity with the Indian people and the government, chosen by them. In his post, Suresh Gopi also recalled an incident and shared that he is a father, who has been on the receiving end when his son was dragged into a similar circumstance. The actor has also requested not to politicize his post. Although Suresh Gopi didn’t mention Prithviraj Sukumaran in the post, the superstar’s pensive note has definitely won hearts.
